Western Food Trucks & Trailers wasn't created from the start.  Our company was first founded in 2002 by Wes Meares to create a void in the Food Service Equipment Industry for the Tri-Cities area of Washington State.

Our first custom built mobile kitchen ever was a large travel bus, built for Tacos La Esperanza in Pasco, WA.   It is still in operation to this day. 

In 2012 we started ramping up the amount of work we were taking on with food trucks and trailers.  All of these builds were done under our parent company name, Western Restaurant Supply.

We finally decided that we had enough truck and trailer business, to brand this arm of our business separately.  This is now known today as Western Food Trucks & Trailers.

Our parent company expanded it's capabilities in October of 2019 to a brand new showroom in Richland, WA where all sales and customer interaction for Western Food Trucks & Trailers moved to.

With Western Restaurant Supply moved out of their old dual location, Western Food Trucks & Trailers absorbed the Kennewick, WA location and transformed the property into a dedicated shop/production facility.
